Red Carpet Event

Who will be photographed on the red carpet tonight?

I had the opportunity to recently install four large original artworks on Sutter St in my hometown Historic Folsom District.  They are now arranged amongst hundreds of beautiful new items for sale at two sold-out private events.  One of my first and most treasured partners, @anitarochelleboutique, is celebrating the holiday season with the 2nd Annual Samuel Dong Trunk Show this weekend!

As an artist my passion is working in the studio, my little workshop, or with a pencil and pad of paper dreaming up one of a kind creations.  Fulfillment comes from sharing my passion with others.  Every time I ship a piece off, or deliver and hang an artwork in someone’s home or place of business, I share and receive such joy.  I felt that joy this morning when I stopped in to take some final pictures after helping to set-up for the big event tonight.  I am excited for you, Anita! <3  Everything looks fabulous!

If you are attending the fashion event, or if you happen to visit Anita in her shop soon, I am sharing in the joy this season and announcing 50% off these four pieces now showing:

“sexually charged”

“ponds light” and “easter egg”

“simple complexity”

All four of these pieces are LARGE resin-coated cracked paintings on canvas using unique application techniques of enamel and acrylic paints and mediums.  Just let Anita know you saw this post and you can walk out with a beautiful painting at an unbeatable price!

Thank you to all who share in my joy and stay connected reading my posts.  I look forward to a whole new year of curiosity and experimentation with you.  One of my favorite quotes from one of my most admired artists…

“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”

Here’s to another year doing what I love! Cheers!
